For SCLENDS Members

A consortium is defined as an association of two or more organizations with the objective of pooling their resources to achieve a common goal. It comes from the Latin consors, which means "partner." The mission of SCLENDS is to maximize South Carolina libraries’ investment in integrated library systems (ILS) by providing a shared, open-source ILS and by promoting resource sharing among member libraries. In order to achieve this mission, member libraries have the opportunity to equally contribute to the development of the consortium through involvement in working groups.
